Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge 2010

Math wizards representing Westfields International School brought home the bacon during the 2010 Metrobrank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge last January 6th at the AUF Professional Schools.  Teams of three from grades 1-10 competed against 11 other private schools and their hard work paid off as seven grade levels qualified during the private schools elimination round.

Then last January 13th, teams from grades 1-5, 7 and 10 competed against 16 other teams representing different public and private schools at AUF (old campus).  The teams from first to fourth grade will continue to make the Westfields family proud as they compete for a spot during the Division Team Finals on the 12th of February.  Wish them luck! Operation Ondoy in Arayat, Pampanga

Students from the Westfields International School, went for an outreach and relief operation in Barangay San Juan, Bano, Arayat, Pampanga. Parents, staff and students from Westfields, donated and collected goods which were distributed to the victims of typhoon Ondoy.

It was a very tiring but fruitful day for those who went out of their way to help the people of Arayat. The students learned the importance of community service and saw how important for us all to try help in the conservation of nature, especially in waste management and keeping more trees.
